Conference Hotel and Program
All morning and afternoon conference events will take place within the Passenger Terminal, which is adjacent to the Movenpick Hotel City Center Amsterdam (Piet Heinkade 11, 1019 BR Amsterdam).
Both days of the conference begin at 8AM in the Hamburg Room.
Lunch and coffee breaks will occur in the Foyer Meeting Center 2. Sessions and workshops will take place in either the Hamburg Room or Bangkok-Hanoi Room.
Monday, December 4th, 6pm to 9pm
“Drinks, Dining, and Demos”
Join us at the Delirium Cafe Amsterdam (Piet Heinkade 4-6-8 1019 BR), which is a just two-minute walk from the hotel. Enjoy craft beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages along with an assortment of edibles including satay sticks, bread, cheese, and sausage. Drink and dine while seeing informal demos from OpenClinica and its partners, including Bio-Optronics, Vigyanix, Cyntegrity, Formedix, and OpenSpecimen.
Tuesday, December 5th, 5pm to 7:30pm
At 5pm on Tuesday (shortly after the final two workshops), we will board two buses that will take us to the canal docks at Prins Hendrikkade 25, 1012 TM.
There, we will board a heated and covered boat that will take us on a canal cruise through the heart of the city’s Light Festival. The cruise will leave the docks at 5:40pm and return around 7:00.
At 7:20 pm, two buses will transport anyone who wishes to return to the Movenpick back to the hotel.
Keep an extra sweater and/or warm coat with you on Tuesday! Canal traveling only adds to the chill of December in Amsterdam.
The cruise represents the official end of our conference, but you may wish to stay in the area for dinner.
